Gender-neutral parental leave, with wellbeing at the centre

Having a baby? Congrats! Our comprehensive support options have been designed by our parents to assist new parents at CommBank, especially in the moments that matter. Our inclusive, gender-neutral approach is designed to assist all of our working parents and parents-to-be to manage their family responsibilities and to take care of their wellbeing. We offer a financial payment on return to work following parental leave to assist with ongoing caring expenses, support resources for challenging times, in addition to paying superannuation to primary carers for up to 52 weeks.

Childcare, family care and pet care

Finding childcare or care for your pets can be super stressful. We’ve got you covered with priority access to a number of long-day childcare places for kids aged 0-6 years in certain corporate childcare centres in the Sydney CBD and at South Eveleigh, along with a concierge service to help you find the right care for other members of your family including fur babies. Eligible employees can also choose to salary sacrifice for childcare.

The Jawun Indigenous Secondment Program supports Indigenous organisations to deliver their own strategies and visions. This way we can help create real change and improve lives within Indigenous communities.

Workplace giving

Our giving program is funded by more than 13,000 of our generous people and donates over $3 million a year to youth-focused community organisations.

Since 2007, we’ve awarded more than $20 million in grants to 1,730 organisations nationwide, supporting a range of programs focused on health, education and social inclusion.
