Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

As an Inspector III, you are responsible for;

  • Determine and program CMM Inspection methods to ensure complete verification of drawings and specification requirements.
  • Obtain necessary fixtures, gauges, indicators, and any other required measuring instruments for product verification in accordance with drawing and specification requirements.
  • Program and Inspect First Articles on Zeiss CMM.
  • Schedule First Article and CMM inspections in accordance with requested times to ensure adequate flow.
  • Design inspection procedure/setups for each CMM program.
  • Perform inspections using standard inspection equipment as needed.
  • Write upcoming program inspections while working off line.
  • Make necessary program modifications to ensure programs are up to date.
  • Keep accurate records of inspections performed.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

What your background should look like:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years’ of experience in an inspection position
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Proficient using MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Analytical capabilities to interpret detailed and complex drawings to ensure correct CMM inspection methodologies are developed
  • Proficient using MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Working within an SAP environment is a plus.
