The WORK180 Story

After spending ten years in the tech industry, Gemma Lloyd and Valeria Ignatieva knew there had to be a better way for women to identify workplaces that weren’t the typical “boys club” environments.

WORK180 was born in Australia in 2015. Our goal was to improve workplaces for women and connect the best employers with top talent. Five years later, we have influenced positive change beyond our dreams.

What you’ll do:

We’re seeking a passionate and energetic Community Engagement Manager to help us build, engage and retain the WORK180 community in the US, specifically across our social media platforms and partner network. This role will report to the Head of Marketing.

In this role you will:

  • Lead social strategies to acquire, engage and retain a vibrant community in the US

  • Foster strong relationships with communities through proactive interaction and conversation

  • Keep up to date with current community engagement practices, trends and statistics

  • Track and analyze community growth metrics to ensure engagement, retention and satisfaction

  • Identify, recruit and onboard a diverse range of partners in the US

  • Help amplify WORK180 content through our community and partnerships

  • Position WORK180 as the go-to-brand for helping women thrive in the workplace

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years experience in Social Media and/or Community Management

  • Relevant tertiary education (or equivalent practical experience)

  • Passion for building strong relationships with a diverse set of people

  • Excitement for working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

  • Exceptional communication and writing skills

  • Comfortable working autonomously, but also thrive in a team setting

  • Creative thinker with a love for trying new things

  • Incredible organizational skills and attention to detail
