Job Description

The Position

The MRO Analyst (Maintenance Repairs Operations) scope of responsibility is focused on the design, development, maintain, administer and delivery of a complete parts and services program using the designated S4 operating system.

A key value deliverable to the company is inventory balancing and reduction of unnecessary waste in Stores. This position will assess, analyze, and ensure site has the correct amount of inventory required to meet internal business. Inventory replenishment order management as required to assist in reduction of working capital, avoid overstocking items or creating storage issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend daily and weekly safety meetings.
  • Generate reports and complete daily replenishment orders
  • Check daily reorder inventory levels against MRP run. (Walk down Stores)
  • Analyze movement of stock weekly to review MIN/MAX or Safety Stock Levels.
  • Adjust MIN/MAX & Safety Stock levels as needed based on stock movement analysis.
  • Material Master Coordination as needed.
  • Maintain & sustain current info records and source list.
  • Review outstanding P.O.’s weekly, or as needed. Run open order report and expedites
  • Approve/ Reject MRO MDG request as needed.
  • Accounts payable workflow for inventory items
  • Help with the review of dormant Stock
  • Initiates weekly, monthly, and yearly cycle counts and close out cycle counts once confirmed
  • Creates and issues inventory purchase orders
  • Creates and issues repairable purchase orders

Work Experience / Technical Skill Requirements

  • Working knowledge of preventative / corrective / breakdown / routine work order
  • SAP experience essential
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-function, team-oriented environment
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehousing and / or logistics in a similar role
  • Experience in processing, refinery, or similar environment
  • Ability to work unsupervised for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Knowledge of parts in a manufacturing setting would be highly regarded.
  • Must possess a strong work ethic along with organization skills and the ability to reprioritize the workload on an hourly basis.

Education / Qualification Requirements

  • Certificate in Warehousing and Logistics essential combined with 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Advanced SAP
