Job Description
The Role
The Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting maintenance and production planning processes, by providing input that ensures activities are scoped, designed, scheduled and resourced to optimise plant safety, integrity and output.
The role is also responsible for ensuring the integrity of the process is maintained and contribute to the continuous improvement of the process, and the execution of activities to optimise the preventative maintenance program and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Provide input to the scope and design of production activities that support planned maintenance execution.
Ensuring that the protocols deemed required for the safe design of work are applied to all scopes of work.
Ensuring that procedures required to return equipment to operational status at the completion of work are applied to all scopes of work.
Provide input into the planning process to ensure activities are scheduled to optimise plant safety, integrity and output.
Provide feedback to the production department of the status of priority maintenance activities.
Coordinate the production and maintenance activities during major maintenance outages.
Lead problem solving of issues that arise if work design, preparation, execution and equipment return to service does not occur in a safe and efficient manner.
Lead improvement activities and ideas to improve the performance of the work design, preparation execution and equipment return to service systems.
Ensure the integrity of the planning process by providing coaching to production personnel.
Escalate and prioritise maintenance activities as required to ensure plant safety and integrity.
Manage conflicting priorities while maintaining key stakeholder interests and relationships
Contribute to the development of the Production Plan and Budget and drive adherence during operation.
Work Experience Requirements
Working knowledge of maintenance and production task coordination.
Task planning scheduling and coordination in a complex environment.
Working knowledge of reliability centered maintenance processes
Working knowledge of modern industrial work practices in a processing environment.
