About the job
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Reliability Engineer to provide technical expertise and leadership at our Kwinana Refinery so that we achieve our safety, environmental, production, cost, reliability and quality objectives.
Core activities for the role include:
Leads a team of Reliability Engineers and sets the direction
With a longer-term focus, plays a pivotal role in the identification and implementation of significant reliability improvement and cost reduction opportunities - fosters change and acts as a catalyst in this process
Provides high level technical support to maintenance and operations team
The Senior Reliability Engineer not only administers the overall Reliability Engineering process but also has a hands-on role and is seen as an expert problem solver / facilitator
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
A passion for leading, directing and coaching a team of Reliability Engineers
Well-developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to connect, work with and influence at all levels of the organisation
Degree qualification(s) in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
Previous experience in maintenance, reliability or plant engineering, as well as experience in heavy process industry
