Our Supply Chain team is currently looking for an expereinced Logisitics professional to join our team in Dandenong, VIC.

Reporting directly to the Supply Chain and Indirect Procurement Director the primary responsibiliy for the ANZ Logistics Engineering Manager is the design the physical and logistics flow for all sites acoss Australia, to fulfill operations requirements while minizing costs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that employees operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety and environmental policies
  • Ensure implementation of all standard processes & golden rules in compliance with Logistic Handbook and Alstom Continious Improvement roadmap
  • Warehouse Design & Optimisation
  • Creating and approving with supplier logistics specifications for all components during RFQ phase with approval prior to Business Award
  • Optimisation of Logistics Vendors wiht Indirect Procurement and the related administration work
  • Implement solutions to improve logistics flows and activities to meet the QCDE targets (Quality, Cost, Delivery, and EHS).
  • Define warehouse layouts, its internal flows and storage policy.
  • Make logistics business case and optimise TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) cost.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Warehousing
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP system
  • Experience in Warehouse management
  • Understanding of logistics concepts
  • Forklift license is highly beneficial
  • Packaging & Material Movements experience required
