The Role

We now have an exciting opportunity available for an Asset Manager to join our Operations team in Melbourne on a full time basis

Reporting to the General Manager Asset Management you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team to deliver the strategic asset management plan to extract maximum value from a portfolio of operating assets. As the Asset Manager you assume the role as asset owner on APA’s behalf to develop and drive asset strategy and optimise overall asset performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and engage peers across various functions to ensure alignment and delivery on Asset Management Plans.
  • Balance cost, risk and performance by negotiating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve greatest overall business value.
  • Accountable for end-to-end business decision making and asset financial performance.
  • Responsible for asset risk and opportunity management.
  • Deliver individual and integrated Asset Management planning, asset lifecycle planning and performance reporting

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work experience in related discipline
  • Proven success leading business or people in the following areas: Asset Management, Commercial, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Projects, Service delivery (two or more areas will be highly advantageous)
  • Demonstrated experience within the Energy industry
  • Extensive experience managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams to achieve common outcomes
