To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Senior HSE Advisor Systems & Compliance to join our team.

The Role
Reporting to the Manager HSE Systems, the purpose of this position is to maintain and improve Arrow Energy’s HSE management system and supports the business in maintaining HSE regulatory compliance.

This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.

In addition you will:
  • Maintain and improve HSE systems that are compliant with safety requirements under the Petroleum and Gas (Production and Safety) Act and Work Health Safety Acts.
  • Work with front line personnel to ensure that key HSE MS requirements are understood are implemented (such as Permit to Work and Isolation, Lockout and Tagging).
  • Identify upcoming HSE regulatory and legislative changes, evaluate impact on Arrow and coordinate response.
  • Provide support and assistance to the HSE audit and assurance processes.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
  • Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Model inclusive behaviours to create a safey environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
About You
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health, Safety and the Environment
  • Extensive experience in resources industry or allied area
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HSE process improvements
  • Solid technical understanding of HSE Management Systems, HSE regulatory requirements within the resources industry, HSE corporate governance requirements.
  • Good written communication ability to draft procedures and reports.
  • Ability to steer multiple, and at times conflicting, parties towards a common goal with effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Degree-level analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret legislation and regulation.
  • Ability to travel to field location to conduct work and support field teams
