To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Land Liaison Officer to join our team.

The Role
Reporting to the Land Liaison Team Lead, you will be a key interface with landholders, responsible for building strong and enduring relationships. Honesty, transparency and respect are critical for this role.

You will closely partner with landholders to understand their unique properties and their plans, address and collaboratively resolve concerns, formalise bespoke land access solutions and work with the Arrow business to ensure these arrangements are adhered to.

The positions will be based in Dalby working on a Monday to Friday roster. An attractive Regional Locality Allowance will apply.

In addition you will:
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
  • Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
  • Liaise with the landholders to identify options for work locations, access tracks and other work areas.
  • Negotiate with landholders to formalise access and compensation agreements.
  • Liaise with internal Project teams, to amend infrastructure locations to better accommodate any physical constraints and landholder requests.
  • Manage engagement with landholders on whose properties company activities are to be carried out, as well as with any neighbouring landholders who may be affected to clearly understand their landholder concerns and communicate Arrow’s intentions and work practices.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to communicate landholder concerns and conditions to ensure these are considered in development planning and on-ground activity.
  • Be familiar with the statutory requirements and the preparation of relevant documentation and records to support the Access deliverables within the Access and Approvals Framework.
  • Plan, coordinate, execute and report on programs of land access work in line with Access and Approvals framework.
  • Record all landholder interactions using the Dynamics database as per the agreed standard.
  • Contribute to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the land access activities and systems to identify any opportunities for improvement.
About You

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on both safety and integrity.

To be successful in the role, you will have:
  • Have proven success and demonstrable experience encompassing a land liaison/access role, ideally within the resources sector.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Proven skills in negotiation with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Proven success managing high-pressure situations with the ability to effectively collaborate to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc).
  • Current, unrestricted Motor Vehicle Driver’s License.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications are not essential but are desirable.
