About the Role
As an Aurion Cloud Engineer – TechOps, you’ll be at the forefront of technology, helping to deliver tangible business outcomes for our clients. You’ll join a team of innovative thinkers who are passionate about leveraging the latest technology trends and cloud platforms to deliver elegant solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Provide second-level technical support to customers of Aurion’s cloud solution and on-premise deployments.
Actively contribute to developing, implementing, and maintaining Aurion’s cloud solution.
Develop expertise in the deployment and maintenance of Aurion software and associated services.
Migrate customers into the Aurion Cloud Platform.
Provide accurate and timely estimates on allocated work.
Follow and improve Technology Services’ processes, procedures, and documentation.
Ensure efficient operation of the Aurion Cloud Platform and internal AWS accounts and resources.
Manage release management and patching processes.
Provide technical know-how to customers and the wider business.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Prior experience in a systems administration or cloud support operational role.
Windows and Linux systems administration experience.
Active Directory administration experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Strong team spirit and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Good understanding of networking and security concepts.
Ability to obtain a baseline security clearance.
Willingness to perform some work out of hours, as required.
Desirable:
AWS experience in an organisational environment (VPC, EC2, S3, Auto Scaling, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc.).
Experience with automation (Lambda, Step Functions).
AWS RDS for MS SQL Server and/or Postgres/Aurora.
Programming/scripting experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with Crowdstrike, Splunk, Jira, and Confluence.
