As an essential service to the mining and resource industries, each day our dedicated team members are working to ensure that we continue to provide exceptional service to our customers and deliver their product to the mines.  In doing so our requirement for additional team members has increased in Toowoomba.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following role:

  • Qualified locomotive drivers
  • Trainee locomotive drivers
  • Electricians
  • Mechanical fitters

These positions will be offered on a permanent basis and will enable safety-focused individuals to assist the safe operation and maintenance of Auirzon's Rollingstock in the West Moreton rail corridor.

About you: 

You will be energetic in your approach to this role and excited to join Aurizon's largest rail haulage company

  • A strong commitment to safety;
  • Ability to commit to a roster which for the traincrew positions are 24/7
  • Excellent customer service;
  • Current unrestricted Class C drivers licence;
  • Commitment to Aurizon values and a willingness to embrace a diverse work environment.

Ability to successfully pass pre-employment checks such as testing, references and medical is a requirement of these roles. Please note this is not a FIFO/DIDO position.
