About the role:
As part of our commitment to invest in technology, processes, and people to unlock safety and productivity benefits, Aurizon has made the decision to continue with the deployment of the European Train Control System (ETCS) on its Central Queensland electric fleet.
Aurizon’s application of ETCS technology onto our heavy-haul coal fleet is known as the TrainGuard. Equipment is installed on-board locomotives which continuously supervises train speed and signals through associated centralised and trackside equipment.
This project is well underway, and we are looking for an experienced and engaged Program Manager to continue to lead this project!
About you: Given the scale of this program of work and the stakeholder engagement required, we are looking for applicants that have high level project and program manager skills and experience in delivering large, multi-disciplinary projects. Your ability to lead and influence at all levels is evident as is your knowledge of operational disciplines and legislative compliance. Those with Signalling / ETCS / Operational Technology project experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
