Your new role

The Lead Process Improvement Analyst will support the delivery of projects run by the Strategic Delivery Office (SDO) by critically analysing business solutions across people, process and technology to identify, design, prepare and implement enhancements.

The role will engage with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and suppliers and work collaboratively with project team members and business users to assist with modelling and analysing current state processes, identifying gaps, negotiating changes and designing and implementing future state processes.

This work will contribute to the evolution of the Groups' platforms, services and capabilities that underpin the broader operating model. Key responsibilities will include;

  • Support successful delivery of defined project outcomes including business case development
  • Lead process modelling activity from discovery through to execution and optimisation
  • Lead E2E process improvement initiatives to deliver efficiency with measurable benefits for the business, including any quick wins
  • Lead and actively assist in planning and formalising business process modelling approach for the program
  • Prioritise process changes for implementation (including any quick wins)
  • Create in-depth root cause analyses for the highest-priority opportunities
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops to support requirements elicitation, issue identification and resolution, solution design, decision making
  • Undertake critical analysis of current state solutions and processes to identify and document gaps, whilst developing considerations for future state processes
  • Assist with the design and implementation of a future state operating model that will include rollout of impacted processes, capabilities, roles and responsibilities and business rules in align with business needs
  • Document and monitor business processes, metrics and standard operating procedures as a result of process improvement initiatives
  • Apply the process excellence tools and techniques to understand, analyse, document, and recommend future process solutions and methodologies set by the BA Practice
  • Monitor future state processes after execution (transition to service) for any optimisation opportunities

What you'll need

The successful candidate is passionate about process design and improvement and will have demonstrated successes in senior program level roles delivering large transformation programs from inception through to benefit realisation. In addition, you will bring;

  • Ability to present findings, negotiate changes and or recommendations to executives and senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability in process modelling techniques and setting up best practices in relation to process optimisation tools
  • Demonstrated experience in designing process using BPMN 2.0 notation guideline
  • Ability to document process model meta data, such as risks and controls, RACI, data/IT systems inputs and outputs etc.
  • Knowledge in process architecture (process levels)
  • Demonstrated experience in Superannuation and/or Markets-related products
  • Ability and experience in E2E requirements management lifecycle
  • Proven ability to synthesize detailed information and confidently present to senior stakeholders
  • Proven facilitation skills and capability to manage group dynamics that lead to the negotiation of successful outcomes
  • Strong commercial acumen, underpinning solutions & delivery with robust business benefits & knowledge of financial modelling of cost/benefit
  • Ability to think creatively to forward plan and solve problems that are both operational and strategic in nature, using both qualitative and quantitative inputs
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve defined and emerging project outcomes and the ability to build strong and sustainable working relationships
  • Ability to present findings, negotiate changes and or recommendations to executives and senior stakeholders
