Your new role

In this initial 6-month contract role, you will assess and validate new direct acquisition channel and/or partnership opportunities according to size, alignment to strategy and brand, member experience, systems and process capability, internal controls, and compliance measures, reporting capability, and other key criteria as appropriate. You will participate in external party discussions including joint idea/opportunity conceptualisation as well as manage the negotiation of commercial and contractual relationships relating to the establishment of new channels, partnerships and initiatives.

As a successful manager, you will design and manage proof of concept go-to-market strategies, monitor and report on performance against target and develop associated recommendations to transition channel into BAU - or immobilise. This role will represent the Strategic Acquisition Team not only in working groups and performance meetings but will also manage relationship with external partners where applicable to drive the successful delivery of proof-of-concept initiatives.

What you'll need

  • Degree in Commerce, Business, Marketing or related discipline, or equivalent practical business experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and managing proof of concept go-to-market strategies, based on analysis of market segments and opportunity size as well as baseline target setting.
  • Experience in managing channel partner relationships to achieve commercial outcomes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of marketing processes and practices including segmentation, marketing and sales planning, campaign management and optimisation.
  • Strong written and oral communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across multiple levels and across business units and divisions.
  • Strategic, creative thinking, planning and analytical skills, applying innovation to industry challenges.
