Your new role:

As the Program Change Lead you will report into the Program Change Manager involved in the activity and development of the Hunter Class Program. This will require vast collaboration with the UK.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation is properly managing and reporting on changes. You will do this by making sure the changes go through the correct change boards, making sure we are able to provide the change metrics and continuously developing our processes as we enter the next stage of design, construction through to testing and delivery.

In more specific terms you will:

  • Ensure that change sentenced through the Change Boards is planned, managed and processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Capture the Impact of Change, through analysis, reporting and active risk management.
  • Develop and maintenance of the Change Management Policy and Process for the Program
  • Support the Delivery of an overall standardised and repeatable Project Change Management Framework / Organisation across all stakeholders; inclusive of IM&T infrastructure
  • Be an SME able to provide guidance and informal training on the overall Change Management Framework to enable a standardised and consistent application of the change processes
  • Work closely with the Engineering, Program Management, Finance and Operations to enable the effective control of change across the Program

About you:

As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management or Engineering ideally with Change or processes mapping
  • Practical experience in supporting change boards and reporting metrics
  • A can do attitude, proactive, collaborative nature
  • Ability to partner with and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to obtain the necessary deliverables
  • Familiar with using and Developing PLM tools such as Wind-Chill or other ERP tools
  • An existing Australian Defence Security Clearance or the ability to meet the application requirements.
  • Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
