BOQ’s Commercial Lending Specialists are customer-centric, thrive on building lasting relationships and are motivated by being a trusted commercial lending advisor to our customers.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your role as Commercial Lending Specialist will be to support the branch in achieving its lending growth objectives by helping support our commercial customers within the local community.

Working closely with our experienced Lending Managers, you will support the holistic customer relationship through each milestone to help our commercial customers achieve their financial goals, in the most seamless and simplistic way possible.

You will utilise your business development skills to engage with and generate new lending opportunities for the branch. We have a pipeline of referrals and deals coming through where you will support with the application process and writing of deals.

With the customer at the heart of everything you do, you will enjoy building relationships with strategic community groups and partnerships to strengthen local community brand and awareness.

About you

As one of BOQ’s trusted Commercial Lending Specialists, you will be a successful and motivated individual with a passion for helping customers with their lending needs and who consistently delivers an outstanding experience for our customers. You will be ambitious, competitive and thrive in a fast-paced, sales-led environment.

Your relationship building skills will be second to none, and your natural customer centric approach to your work will ensure you are able to deliver appropriate lending solutions and build trust and confidence in your interactions.

You will have previous experience in commercial property, cashflow and asset lending, and enjoy business development, networking with others and involvement in the community.
