About the role

Working in the Infrastructure Operations team, the Sewer Network Engineer is a critical role and will see you work to achieve optimal levels of service across the sewer network, developing best-in-class proactive operations and responding to incidents to provide exceptional levels of service for our customers.

This is a vital role for Barwon Water as you lead and coordinate improvements in the operation of our sewer assets and how we predict and respond to issues that may impact our customers, community and environment. You will form positive and lasting relationships with a range of stakeholders and be comfortable working at all levels across the organisation.

You will work with innovative technology and deploy creative solutions to some complex challenges in the field, as well as play a vital role with the roll out of our smart sewer strategy, a project that will transform the way we operate and maintain our assets.

About You

A qualified engineer, your eye for detail and analytical mind with be put to the test as you apply real-world solutions to improve levels of service across our complex sewer network. You will be inspired and inspire those around you.

With your solution-focussed approach, you’ll blend your technical skills while utilising your natural communication skills, liaising with a broad range of stakeholders across the organisation. You will bring a growth mindset to the role as your experiences will bring value to the team.
