About the role
Known internally as a Manager, Business Customer, this is definitely not a deskbound role! You will have your own right-sized portfolio of Small Business Customers, and manage and grow your portfolio through:
Relationship management: Visit your customers and see how their business operates. Connect through quality conversations and build deep and lasting relationships so you can design and deliver innovative, holistic and needs-based solutions to partner in their success
Business development: There are huge opportunities for growth in the Small Business sector and business development will be an important part of your role: Develop and implement localised plans to raise the profile of Small Business in the community, deepen existing relationships and acquire new customers.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders: form partnership relationships with branch managers, coach and lead education of Branch teams, build trusted relationships with Credit Risk.
This is a full time, permanent position. We work flexibly and in a hybrid model, plus you’ll be out and about visiting your customers and growing your portfolio. Your base office is Frankston.

You have experience in business lending and credit analysis in the $200k - $1 mil lending space
You love to get out and about to build your personal brand and have a proactive approach to business development activities to grow your network and create quality referral sources
You’re great at building strong relationships with both customers and stakeholders
You enjoy running education sessions and sharing your knowledge
