About the Role

As the Service Support Technician, you will be a part of the Site Improvement Team at Leinster that is responsible for execution of small capital projects and hazard rectification works on Site. The direct team is a small team comprised of mechanical trades, a coordinator and Supervisor and forms part of the larger Maintenance Services Team.

This position offers a friendly FIFO roster working days only on and even time 7 days on, 7 days off roster.

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting and assisting trades to execute remedial and improvement works
  • Acting as a sentry / spotter for high risk works
  • Ordering, organising and staging parts and equipment
  • Assisting other team member as instructed by Supervisor



About Leinster

Leinster is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance Underground Mine and Cliffs Underground Mine before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate. About You

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have the following:

  • C Class Drivers Licence is essential (HR Drivers Licence is preferred)
  • High Risk Work Licence – Forklift, Elevated Work Platform is desirable
  • Confined Space and Working Safely at Heights Tickets is desirable
  • Attention to detail and a mechanical aptitude
  • Reliable and responsible with the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
  • Enjoy being hands on and working outdoors
  • Willing to learn and contribute to promoting a supportive and positive team culture
