About the Role

We are seeking a highly-motivated Superintendent Surveying to join our Eastern Pilbara based team.

Reporting to the Manager Survey, this role will lead a team responsible for the provision of surveying services to 3 large open cut iron ore mines, along with the surrounding infrastructure, closed sites and exploration areas.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a large Geomatics team made up of Surveying and GIS professionals, servicing all WAIO operations.

With the continued digitalisation of mining practices, our discipline is going through an exciting period of change, and we require a leader who will be able to motivate and inspire our team to deliver against our improvement portfolio, as well as ensure the safe delivery of daily services.

About You

  • Tertiary level education preferably in Geomatics (Surveying, GIS etc.), however other disciplines could be considered should the leadership capability be excellent.
  • Experience as a geospatial professional, mining, engineering, or other related discipline.
  • Experience in managing improvement programs spanning multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstratable leadership capability, preferably with direct line leadership experience.
