About the Role
Reporting to the Ancillary Maintenance Supervisor, the role of Maintenance Coordinator will be fundamental in supporting the Execution Supervisors with the following tasks, however not limited to;
- setting up and delivery of planned and unplanned work,
- forward planning support, short term labour requirement coordination,
- raising purchasing orders,
- reviewing work notifications and
- liaising with warehousing regarding parts for urgent work.
You will be based at our Jimblebar mine site in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, on a fly-in fly-out 8/6 roster. Our FIFO villages have a wide range of facilities and all rooms have their own ensuite bathroom, television, refrigerator and air-conditioning to help you unwind, relax and sleep well. We know the more time you can spend at home the better, so in addition to our flights out of Perth, our Jimblebar and Newman operations are now offering those that live in WA’s beautiful South West region direct flights from Busselton.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to support a collaborative working team in maintenance, logistics or a similar setting. You will have the ability to multi-task, prioritise work and adapt to change. You will be an individual that is highly focused on data integrity and maintaining up to date information. A background and understanding of Mining Maintenance would be highly advantageous.
Current ‘C’ Class drivers licence is essential, working knowledge of Cat SIS 2.0 system and previous 1SAP experience specifically in managing purchase requisitions and vendor management would be ideal.
