About IROC+

BHP’s Integrated Remote Operations Centre (IROC) is a state-of-the-art control operations facility encompassing our coal asset operations located across Central Queensland. This world-class control centre makes a significant contribution to ensuring our Coal operations continue to improve performance in a sustainable way by coordinating the near-term scheduling, planning, and controlling of our coal assets from the Brisbane CBD.

Our purpose is to provide Integrated Innovation to the Coal Value Chain, with our team heavily involved in the deployment of automation and machine learning technologies to transition our business into a sustainable future.

About the Role

We are seeking an Administrator Site Systems to join the IROC+ Systems and Improvement Team. Reporting to the Superintendent Site Systems, this role supports offers an excellent opportunity for development and exposure to the continuous improvement of the Safety and Training Management Systems and associated information management systems.

Based in Brisbane, this is a full-time Monday to Friday position, for a fixed term 12 month period with flexible work options available.

Duties to include:

  • Support the Systems and Improvement Team in the deployment of project initiatives
  • Review and update training documentation which form part of the IROC+ Training Scheme
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of Safety & Health Management System documentation
  • Document and records management, in accordance with BMA Document Management Standard
  • Provision of general administrative tasks andsupport (including site access management).

About You

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Enthusiastic, positive and a team player with previous administrative experience
  • Whilst not mandatory, previous training system knowledge and experience in Documentum and the Learning Management System (LMS) would be highly regarded
  • High standards of work and a personal commitment to health and safety, our Charter Values and excellence in customer service
  • Strong level of competency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Highly organised with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
