About the Role

As a Technical Specialist with BHP OS, you will be reporting directly to the superintendent of production and have the opportunity to add real value to the production team. You will be able to guide improvement activity, transform services and support out people. As the subject matter expert, you will be relied upon for your technical expertise in systems, processes and critical skill competencies across OS.

About You

As a strong candidate, you will demonstrate the ability to develop strong relationships and work collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders.

You will also ideally:

  • Be highly respected as a subject matter expert in either projects, production, maintenance and/or planning;
  • Have a deep commitment and passion for delivering improvement opportunities;
  • Have good understanding of, and proven skills in, work process analysis and improvement;
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and a team orientated approach;
  • Have strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
