Boral Cement Geelong are currently seeking an Electrical Reliability Technician who will carry out tasks that will improve the reliability and efficiency of the business with a particular emphasis on planned and predictive/ preventative maintenance.

Duties include:

  • Will carry out tasks that will improve the reliability and efficiency of the business or prevent serious plant damage, or risks to safety or the environment, with a particular emphasis on planned and predictive/preventative maintenance
  • Repair and maintenance of plant and equipment
  • Data interpretation and analysis
  • Assume responsibility of supervising and leading contractors
  • Contributes to longer term planning to improve plant reliability
  • Undertake stores duties including but not limited to deliveries, receipting, and stocktaking

Skills & Experience:

  • Trade Qualified Electrician
  • HV Trained (preferable)
  • Minimum of 5-7 years post trade experience in a heavy manufacturing / production environment including 1-2 years in contractor supervision and process management experience
  • High risk licences including but not limited to forklift and elevated work platform
