About the Opportunity

We are actively seeking a dynamic & supportive Asphalt and Spray Seal Trainer and Assessor to join our national team. As an integral member of our division, you will be responsible for planning and delivering training materials and activities to Boral employees and contractors.

This full-time, permanent opportunity will be primarily based in Brisbane. To support the geographic range, this position will cover, candidates with the flexibility to travel to New South Wales and ACT sites are encouraged to apply. To support you, we will provide you with a Tool of Trade vehicle, phone and laptop and cover all associated travel costs!

Duties

Your contributions will see that you gain exposure to a full range of activities, including:

  • Facilitate employee and contractor inductions
  • Undertake verification of competency training and assessment
  • Training and assessment of Asphalt and Spray Seal units of competency, including operating and safe work procedures and refresher training
  • Ensuring accuracy, consistency and completeness of all training, assessment and record keeping process

Skills & Experience

  • We are seeking a hands-on individual who can demonstrate the following:
  • Strong experience as a Trainer and Assessor within the construction industry
  • Proven experience assessing/ training Asphalt and Spray Seal specific plant and equipment
  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment
