The role:

Based in Eagle Farm and reporting to the Maintenance Manager, we are looking for an experienced Mechanically trade qualified person , whose primary responsibility is to manage and carry out maintenance and repairs to all mobile road surfacing equipment and fixed asphalt plant, both in the field and in workshop. The successful applicant must be available to work both day and/or night shifts and also be available to travel between sites as required to meet operational requirements.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance of a wide range of asphalt manufacturing and mobile equipment
  • Manage workshop equipment including diagnostic and calibration testing
  • Understand and fault find using engineering drawings and P&ID’s
  • General workshop duties which will include stocktaking and cleaning
  • Flexibility surrounding day and night shift work
  • Comply with Boral's Workplace Health and Safety requirements at all times.

Do you possess the skills below:

  • Mechanical Trade qualification
  • MR licence (favourable)
  • Experience in maintaining both mobile and fixed plant
  • Good diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Background in mechanics, hydraulics and auto electrical systems (viewed favourably)
