We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a Gang Truck Driver to join our hardworking and close-knit team on a permanent full-time basis.
This role is based out of Koorda and will be responsible for transporting equipment between the Receival Sites throughout area. Some overnight travel to regional locations may be a requirement of this position from time to time.
The roster is currently Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work (voluntary) with a start date to be in January 2023.
There may be the potential for other roster options which will be discussed with applicants during the interview process. Recently renovated donga style accommodation is available if required.
Gang Truck Drivers are responsible for:
The transportation, loading and unloading of machinery and equipment between receival sites.
Operating and maintaining a Volvo FH16 600Hp 8x4 prime mover with a Effer 315-5S Crane
Operating various trailers including Semi, B-Double and Road Train configurations
Safely receiving, storing and out-loading grain and completing Receival Point Operator Duties
Operating and maintaining equipment in a safe and hygienic manner.
Location – Koorda Region
Situated 230 kilometres north-east of Perth, Koorda is a rich agricultural regional centre boasting many great facilities including a 24/7 gym, tennis club, swimming pool, golf club, and even a drive-in movie theatre! Koorda is central to the “Wheatbelt Way”, a trail running throughout the northern wheatbelt highlighting 21 unique sites ranging from natural attractions to sites of historic importance. Possess a valid and unrestricted HC Class Drivers licence (MC desirable).
Possess a valid mobile crane (CV) and dogman (DG) qualification (desirable)
Be fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical.
Be living or willing to relocate to Koorda or nearby regional communities.
Work extended hours depending on Harvest and grain out-loading.
Work at heights, confined spaces and in areas of a high grain dust concentration.
Possess basic computer skills.
You must live or be willing to relocate to Koorda or a nearby town.
This frontline role plays a major part in our supply chain working with Growers, Contractors and Team members to sustainably create and return value to Growers.
