Who are we?

The CBH Group is Australia’s largest co-operative and a leader in the Australian grain industry, with operations extending along the value chain, including grain storage, handling, transport, marketing and processing. With our unique end-to-end supply chain, we deliver a local quality product to over 30 international destinations. Become part of a dynamic, diverse organisation and make your mark in sustainably creating and returning value for our growers.

For the 21/22 harvest, we broke over 90 records, and a total 21.3 million tonnes delivered CBH’s network of 120+ receival sites. It’s enough grain to fill Optus Stadium 17 times over! It’s a mammoth task to receive this much grain in a short harvest window, store it and export it via road and rail networks to one of our four shipping ports in WA.

  • Ensuring the area is adhering to CBH requirements regarding grain sampling and quality systems and are maintained and consistent across all sites.

  • Monitoring logistics plan to ensure out loading plan is executed.

  • Communicating maintenance requests and requirements to the relevant stakeholders to ensure sites are maintained to the required standard with minimal disruptions.

  • Preparing sites for harvest, including sample shed and weighbridge set up, required information set up in systems, resource planning of harvest casuals, and staff are trained and equipped.

The Location - Koorda Region

While the office is based in Koorda, the receival sites are in Goodlands, Kalannie, Kirwan, Cadoux, Manmanning, Ejanding, Wyalkatchem and Dowerin and you may be required at any one of these sites.

Situated 230 kilometres north-east of Perth, Koorda is a rich agricultural regional centre boasting many great facilities including a 24/7 gym, tennis club, swimming pool, golf club, and even a drive-in movie theatre! Koorda is central to the “Wheatbelt Way”, a trail running throughout the northern wheatbelt highlighting 21 unique sites ranging from natural attractions to sites of historic importance. There is something for everyone in this quaint country town!
