The Role

We are seeking motivated and safety conscious individuals to join our team in the role of Receival Point Operators (RPO) on a 12-month fixed term contract with view to permanency for the right person.

This frontline role plays a major part in our supply chain working with Growers, Contractors and Team members to sustainably create and return value to Growers. No experience is necessary, CBH will provide full training in skidsteer, loader, working at heights and confined spaces.

This role will require movement between the Receival sites in Area 16 which include Cranbrook, Broomehill, Gnowangerup and Mirambeena.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate plant and equipment to move and store bulk grain.

  • Safely receiving, storing, and out-loading grain.

  • Sampling and assessing the grain including identifying contaminated grain.

  • Maintaining the condition of grain within the storage system through hygiene activities.

  • Operating and maintaining equipment in a safe and hygienic manner.

Roster & Accommodation

There are flexible lifetsyle rosters on offer which will be discussed with candidates at interview stage. The standard 5 days on, 2 days off roster with some weekend work is also on offer.

Please note that some sites require availability and willingness to work nightshift.

Accommodation is available at each site if required.

About You:

  • Hold an unrestricted and valid driver’s licence (HR class desirable).

  • Have own reliable vehicle.

  • Exhibit a strong dedication to working safely.

  • Be deemed physically fit in accordance with the CBH operational worker pre-employment medical.

  • Be able to work at heights, in confined spaces and in areas with a high grain dust concentration.

  • Possess basic computer skills.

  • Be able to work in a team environment and communicate well with peers.

  • Live or be willing to relocate to locations near or within Area 16.
