In this role, you would:

  • Partner with the ANZ leadership team to build a people & talent strategy that supports the business. You would focus on leadership development, building high performing teams, fostering an inclusive culture while continuing to focus on Cisco being the #1 Best Hybrid workplace.
  • You are a trusted advisor, mentor and coach to leadership team. You help them in leading their teams, navigating through change, driving impact to our customers & partners but you are also invested in supporting our leaders in their own leadership journey.
  • You use your understanding of the business, key markets, thought leadership coupled with data and insights to guide decision making and prioritize key investments
  • You partner across cross functional teams in region and globally such as Join & Connect, Learning, Compensation & Benefits to provide programs and solutions for our employees and teams
  • You are able to connect the dots across focus areas and priorities across the region and globally to drive impact not just for ANZ but also for the organization at large
  • You work with country leadership teams on complex country operations

You will act as a trusted counsel and advisor to the business, as a leader with HR expertise and perspective. You will work with the business leadership team across ANZ, Country leadership teams and People & Communities (HR) colleagues across the region and globally.

Who You Are

You are someone who thrives on collaborating and partnering across boundaries to understand business challenges; talent needs and works to identify impactful solutions. You see change as an opportunity for innovation and simplicity. You are energised in a dynamic, complex and highly matrix environment.

You have 15+ years of HR experience or equivalent in roles growing complexity/scope, combined with 5+ years of experience partnering with executive level stakeholders.

You bring expertise in these areas:

  • Track record of credible transformation-centric business partnership and change leadership. You demonstrate Leadership and courage when it comes to innovating, disrupting and proposing solutions others are reluctant to address. You identify and drive HR solutions aligned to business strategy
  • You display strong business acumen and have proven success in establishing business relationships as advisor, source of discernment and expertise.
  • You lead by example. You lead with trust, empathy and are a leader who puts teams first
  • You use data and insights to make decisions. You connect, communicate and influence across boundaries both with business leaders as well as within the HR teams.
