About the team

Technology is the backbone of our business. Every day, our team solves complex and meaningful problems. Those solutions help thousands of our fellow team members succeed, and make millions of customers’ lives easier every day.

As part of the broader Digital team, Corporate Systems are responsible for the development and support of applications across multiple enterprise platforms including Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, Risk, Safety and Legal.

Corporate Systems is an integral part of some key initiatives including implementations, increasing cloud capability, and digitising multiple manually intensive processes.

About the role

Our technical environment utilises the Azure platform to enable delivery of business outcomes and is a growing space that we are keen to embed best practices in.

Being the core development platform for Corporate Systems, we are taking the next step of our evolution and use of Azure technologies to move Coles further into the cloud – you will be pivotal in making this happen.

As a member of the team, you will mentor and provide thought leadership to other members with different levels of skills and experience, growing our next generation of tech leaders. Alongside the development teams, you will be involved in designing greenfield implementations, enhancements to existing solutions and evaluations of proposed solutions, as well as providing support to BAU activities as required.

You will be involved in identifying requirements, solution design, effort estimations, contributing to regular team ceremonies, helping resolve issues and driving continuous improvement and uplift of the team’s capability.

We need a good communicator as you’ll be bridging the gap between technology and business, and also working with different squads to achieve a common goal.
