About the role

As part of the Fintech leadership team the Delivery Manager – PinPad will lead the Payments and FinTech roadmap through the entire product delivery lifecycle for PinPad solutions, demonstrating the key values and behaviours of a successful program manager.

As crew lead, you will oversee portfolio delivery and ensure alignment to Payments business and technical strategies and leading complex cross-functional initiatives. You will also be accountable for the delivery of your crew and end-to-end execution of initiatives, from discovery to delivery.

This position has a focus on PINpad software and hardware solutions across multiple brands, working closely with vendors and payment partners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the technology delivers on the product strategy and is aligned to Coles Technology strategy requirement of simplifying our technology landscape

A key requirement is your previous experience managing components of large-scale national rollouts, and your demonstrated ability to work on complex projects in excess of $2M plus.

Your strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be 1st class, as well as your ability to prioritise and delegate your workload. You will have exceptional stakeholder and vendor management skills and understand stakeholders’ needs and motivations, and implement strategies to address complexities and ensure transparency and alignment around backlog and priorities

A must have for this role is experience in delivery of cards payments, merchant acquiring, managing PINpad vendors and software and hardware solutions.

About you and your skills

  • 6+ years in project management or senior delivery roles, including management of medium to large complex projects greater than $2m
  • Successfully managed projects ie. projects that involve multiple functional areas, multiple technologies, multiple external parties (including vendors), working with dispersed teams, cost and duration of project and considerable levels of change and uniqueness
  • Experience managing large components of large-scale rollouts
  • Previous experience supporting both instore and digital channels in large, complex organisations
  • Experience working in a digital-first organisation with a strong customer-centric focus and understanding of SDLC
  • A ‘must-have’ is experience in delivery of cards payments / merchant acquiring and managing PINpad vendor and software and hardware solutions
  • Experienced people leader who thrives in a learning and coaching environment
