This opportunity is part of our Career Comeback program within our Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) team. A paid program for experienced professionals who've taken a career break of two years or more, and are looking to return to the workforce.

Run over 12 weeks, the program is designed to provide you with the re-entry support and training you need to thrive. Upon completion of the program, those who have demonstrated their abilities and motivation to succeed may be eligible for a permanent position.

Do work that matters:

Day to day you'll manage relationships with customers who utilise the Bank's Trade Finance solutions and services, develop close working relationships with key internal stakeholders, identify new growth initiatives and drive deal execution across the Trade Finance product suite.

Overall - you're a self-starter, an influencer and a relationship builder who's constantly driven to maintain a continuous improvement approach in everything that you do - for product, process, systems and people.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Taken a career break of 2+ years and are interested in returning to work on a permanent basis
  • Relevant experience in financial services, project management, operations, logistics or similar
  • Experience with either cash flow lending, working capital or trade finance is advantageous
  • Customer centric with clear communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Permanent Australian working rights and are ideally Sydney based- other locations may also be considered
  • If a permanent role is obtained post program, some travel may be required
