Your mission: To create memorable experiences for colleagues and customers by providing maintenance support across Crown Perth.

At Crown Perth memorable experiences are created when we work together. As the Maintenance Person – Day you will be responsible for quality operation and preventative maintenance of the Crown Perth Complex, as well as general handyperson duties as required.

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Carrying out various preventative and reactive maintenance tasks as required such as replace light globes, repair curtain rails,
TV replacement, paving repairs, small painting touch-ups, unblock drains and assisting other colleagues as required
  • Assisting in the Building Automation System to ensure cost effective operation of plant and equipment
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to a five-star standard throughout the complex
  • Assisting Tradesmen in capital works when required
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure works are carried out effectively and efficiently

Preferred Criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a general trades/maintenance position
  • Working knowledge of Engineering building systems, OH&S principles, statutory and legal compliancy regulations
  • Demonstrated experience working in teams to deliver business outcomes
  • Previous experience in hotels or a five-star customer service environment is desirable
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
