The Golf Operations Assistant is responsible for assisting with day-to-day business operations of the Capital Golf Club, whilst providing guests with an exceptional level of service that meets and exceeds their expectations at every opportunity. This includes hosting & guiding invited guests around the championship golf course and facilities. All areas of maintenance on the grounds and in the clubhouse must be attended to thoroughly & efficiently. Capital Golf Club expects the highest of standards and service from all its staff. 

Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with implementation of daily staff roles/duties to continue the 5 star expectations of management.

  • Assisting with monitoring daily maintenance & staffing to achieve Golf and Food Service goals

  • Provide a personalised and engaging level of service when encountering all Capital guests

  • Anticipate the needs of guests and provide a level of service that exceeds all guests’ expectations.

  • Role model and reinforce Crown’s customer service values.

  • Confidentiality and discretion are maintained at all times regarding guest information or activities.

  • Manage the daily cash/EFT reconciliations & all guest charges to appropriate departments.

  • Liaise with on-site contractors to maintain and grow working relationships.

  • Utilise performance management processes to identify and celebrate consistently high performance and actively manage sub-standard performance.

The following criteria will be considered when reviewing applicants:

  • Have strong knowledge of all aspects of golf operations including competition golf management and administration.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, lead and motivate staff.

  • Clear and precise communication skills.

  • A proactive nature.
