The purpose the F&B Systems Administrator position is to action the day to day operations of the F&B Systems. The position plans, organises, schedules and executes the tasks and activities of the team. As directed by the F&B Systems Team Leader, this role is required to support F&B Administration with day to day system requests, delivery and process improvement as well as develop and administer systems training for F&B Operations.

Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Update outlet (point of sale system) food and beverage menus and implement the requested changes (involving item additions, deletions and price changes) within specified timeframe, in accordance with policy.
  • Maintain beverage database for Online Forms on daily basis.
  • Implement restaurant seasonal menus changes within specified timeframe, as required.
  • Ensure all beverage and PeopleSoft recipe (in particular - cocktail) items are correctly mapped to PeopleSoft Financial systems.
  • Create new revenue centres in the point of sale system, in liaison with Crown IT, and ensure necessary communication is established with the required information systems.

The following criteria will be considered when reviewing applicants:

  • Tertiary qualification in hospitality or a business related discipline preferred.
  • Extensive customer service experience, ideally in a Food & Beverage environment.
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Knowledge of the Micros Point of Sale system is essential, 7 rooms booking system, databases and MS Office suite of products (i.e. excel and word)
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management
  • Basic knowledge of accounting.
