The Profitfocus team are specialists in the automotive industry and an opportunity has recently arisen for an experienced individual to join their reporting team on a full-time basis.

What will your typical day look like?

You will work with dealers & automotive brands to help our clients achieve long-term sustainable dealership profitability whilst effectively supporting delivery of services of the reporting team. To be successful in this role you will thrive on building strong relationships with both our clients and our teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of the day-to-day operations of the reporting team to ensure users and clients are receiving the premium standard of service expected from Deloitte
  • Proactively work with dealership financial controllers to ensure their financial accounts are mapped and their financial submissions are submitted in line with manufacturer requirements.
  • Proactively work with dealership financial controllers and other stakeholders to review the quality of the data being submitted to the eProfitFocus platform.
  • Facilitate and manage the delivery of training for system users.
  • Collaborate with the senior team to proactively demonstrate the benefits that eProfitFocus brings to our clients and users.

About the team

About our team The ProfitFocus team within Deloitte Motor Industry Services is solely focused on helping motor dealers improve their business performance. Central to the services offered by ProfitFocus is eProfitFocus, a web-based benchmarking system for motor dealers. eProfitFocus collects financial and operational data in a uniform format that allows users to review business performance across dealerships, brands and locations, by way of reports that compare the dealership data with brand composites and industry benchmarks. This data is used by the dealers themselves to track and improve their business, and by the automotive brands to monitor the financial health of their dealer networks and to help improve the operational performance of those networks. Within eProfitFocus, the Reporting team is responsible for the benchmarking system as well as supporting the other ProfitFocus teams (Training, Consulting, Analytics and Dealer Comparison Groups) in delivering their services to clients.

You are someone who has:

  • The ability to quickly develop a solid understanding of the business and technology processes of eProfitFocus
  • Experience with building strong relationships with both clients and internal teams
  • Solid understanding and knowledge within the motor industry (preferable)
  • Ability to question & analyse data based on fundamental accounting principles
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office including Excel, Word and Outlook
