Our IT specialists work closely with the financial auditors, to understand client’s businesses, strategies and processes, IT architecture and risks. We keep abreast of emerging technologies with the IT environment and help develop audit plans to counter financial risks that might be associated with the application of such technologies. We support clients in enhancing their IT control governance maturity and manage and administer a clients ICT security policy and procedures to ensure that preventive and recovery strategies are in place.

About the team

The Technology and Controls Team provides specialist review towards the existing IT controls, safeguarding corporate assets and cross-checks whether the IT controls are in line with the business. We bring our IT and accounting skills to empower clients with an understanding of their technology controls and their performance in relation to the financial statement and core business operations. We implement and administer database documentation, guidelines, policies and procedures.

You are someone who:

  • Obtained professional qualifications
  • IT audit/IT risk professional seeking a new challenge in your career
  • Provide quality work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and an analytical mind
  • Brings a practical knowledge of technology, internal audit, external audit or ICT security practices with experience in undertaking reviews within public sector and/ or private sector organisations
  • Ensure that the design of computer sites allows all components to fit together and work properly

The minimum salary requirement for this role is $120,000 including 10.5% superannuation
