What will your typical day look like?

This role is supporting two of the firm’s Top 20 (T20) accounts in the insurance sector. Although these clients are based in Brisbane and Sydney, the role can be based anywhere across Australian capital cities. Working as an Account Coordinator, you will be a key part of the Strategic Clients team at Deloitte. The role works closely with the Lead Client Service Partners, Strategic Client Account Managers, senior Partners and national Client Service Teams (CST) to make an impact that matters to their clients.

Key responsibilities

Playing a critical role in bringing the best of the firm to our CST and external clients, you will responsible for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of account management activities, including:

  • Developing consistent high-quality account financial and pipeline performance reports and relevant client information,
  • Coordinating CST meetings using virtual tools,
  • Assisting in the delivery of campaigns, relationship programs and events,
  • Managing the requests from various commercial frameworks, panels and supporting in bid activities,
  • Managing the Teams site, CRM and pipeline system,
  • Developing internal communications and support client feedback by coordinating client interviews, win / loss debriefs and sharing information and insights,
  • Collaborating with the account management community to build and leverage best practice and provide support for special project work as required.

You are someone with:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrable experience in project management or working in a complex client service team within a professional services firm environment
  • Strong excel and data analysis and PowerPoint skills
  • Proven track record being a key member of a high-performing team
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and pipeline management
  • Experience working within a professional services environment (or a similar complex matrix structure)
  • Stakeholder Management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision-making ability and capacity to exercise sound judgement and diplomacy
  • Strong commercial business acumen
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, virtual work environment
  • Insurance/Finance sector knowledge and/or experience will be highly regarded
