What will your typical day look like?  

As a Business Agility Coach, you will have a clear vision of how business agility can transform an organisation and the experience of its people and, customers. You will have hands-on experience in partnering with organisations on their transformational journeys.

You will be part of our Adaptable Organisation team made up of passionate business agility coaches and organisation design practitioners who coach and advise all levels of organisations and support our clients in delivering greater value, impact, and long-term adoption. Typical activities include:

  • Designing, orchestrating, and delivering on the clients’ agile transformation strategy and its implementation (including agile and value stream delivery and operating models)
  • Supporting organisations to transition from ‘project to product’, traditional waterfall project delivery to Agile/DevSecOps/Kanban processes and tools
  • Coaching scrum masters, product owners, executives and leaders, business and technology teams  
  • Embedding Lean & Agile practices to build high performing teams and organisations
  • Operating within several agile approaches and frameworks: SAFe, Kanban, XP, SCRUM, and fluid in applying the appropriate one to the context
  • Embedding new ways of working through coaching
  • Leading and presenting Agile Organisational health assessments and coaching recommendations

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

We are looking for an experienced Business Agility coach with 5+ years of experience in Agile transformation coaching to play a key role in the planning, scoping and delivery within our Adaptable Organisation team.

To be successful in this role you will need to have strong communication skills to coach and mentor teams and leaders on Agile values and principles. You will coach clients on a variety of technology, digital and business topics including lean portfolio management, value stream management, product management, design thinking, continuous delivery, culture, and DevOps.

We are looking for a diverse skillset that includes a cross-section of the following:

  • Demonstrated experience coaching teams, team of teams and leaders in scaled agile environments
  • Expert proficiency in influencing others, managing multiple competing priorities and recommendations, and engaging with all levels of an organisation
  • Intimately familiar with several agile approaches and frameworks and how to coach within these: SAFe, S@S, Kanban, XP, SCRUM, LeSS
  • Knowledgeable about technical best practices (e.g., TDD, BDD, Gherkin,  continuous integration, DevOps, etc.)
  • Active in the Agile community, lunch and learn presentations, publish papers, and contribute to Business Agility Coaching communities of practice internally and externally
  • Agile Certifications preferred, ICAgile, Scrum Alliance, SAFe
  • Have or be eligible for AGSVA security clearance
