Our Northern Infrastructure Business have an opportunity for a Engineering Manager to join the DT Infrastructure team in our Milton Offices. You will be accountable for leading the Project Engineering Team, on a technically challenging project. Your experience around rail infrastructure will be well utilised and highly regarded.

About You

  • Demonstrated capability in Civil Construction with exposure to major rail infrastructure projects.
  • Maintenance / Possession planning experience within rail environments.
  • Qualified professional engineer to Bachelor of Engineering level.
  • Understanding of cost control and budget preparation and ability to manage projects to budget.
  • Technical aptitude, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong ability to rapidly grasp the nuances of client needs in complex situations with competing demands.
  • Ability to structure appropriate solutions to meet client needs and address problem areas.
  • Ability to lead others to deliver an agreed outcome.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A strong bias for talent development of self and others
  • Proven experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 major Rail contractor desirable but not essential;
