Our Sealing division covers the development and maintenance of both rural and central roads across New Zealand. Due to an internal promotion, we require an experienced Bitumen Sprayer Operator to assist with upcoming projects across the Auckland region.

You’ll be involved in a number of road sealing activities, like reseals, first coats, patching and a range of commercial work. You’ll need to ensure correct spray rates, conduct quality checks, drive the sprayer truck and will look after the plant (we’ve got some brand-new sprayers that you’ll be working on too).

About you:
You will be a team player and have proven experience working with Bitumen or Emulsion. With experience working with Quality Branded Bitumen/emulsion sprayers and a knowledge of bituminous products and properties, you’ll be confident to hit the ground running and step into some exciting work streams. You will also have:

* Class 1-4 NZ Drivers Licences (Class 5 preferred)
* Dangerous Goods ticket (preferable)

* At least 3 years of experience in operating bitumen sprayer trucks
* A strong work ethic with flexibility to flow to work peaks throughout the year
* Good communication and problem-solving skills to solve daily challenges

*Annual hours between 2,100 – 2,400 (average of 40 – 46 hrs per week), given the seasonal nature of the work these may not be distributed evenly throughout the year
