The Role:

As the Operations Support Analyst you will be part of a small vibrant team of analyst's who work collaboratively together.

This role will be based in Wiri, Auckland with the offer of a flexible work environment.

This is a key role within the National Operations Support Team (Telecommunications) where the main purpose of this role is to enable data-led decisioning and action, providing quality data, insightful analytics, trends, reporting and forecasting - enabling us to deliver quality customer experience outcomes and optimise internal process capabilities.

It's more than pulling and reporting data, it's about providing information or more importantly, providing insight. Presenting recommendations that reference your insight and which are supported by comprehensive analysis so that decisions can be made with confidence.

If you have knowledge across the various support networks within telco operations, are driven by performance and have outstanding abilities to deliver improvement initiatives including revenue leakage we can provide you an opportunity to make a real difference in our service delivery.

About You:

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with the following attributes and qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Systems or similar is desirable
  • Experience in Telecommunications would be advantageous
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, problem solving, process improvement and root cause analysis
  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Operational reporting experience in using SQL, relational databases, and Microsoft Power BI
  • Confidence in sourcing, transforming and modelling data to deliver interactive and engaging reports
  • Strong attention to detail, and is highly organised and reliable
  • A self-starter able to take initiative and takes ownership
  • The ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Can have effective relationships with stakeholders that improve and streamline performance
  • Ability to coach, mentor & motivate
  • A willingness to learn, develop and grow your skills and capabilities
