About the Role

Our Work Management Centre provides a centralised hub for communications with our customers to our field staff.

The Resource Management Specialist is a complex and technical role with responsibilities for the successful forecasting, planning and scheduling of staffing/resourcing requirements. You will also be jointly accountable for managing labour costs within budget to meet and exceed business gross margin targets.

The Resource Management Team are a high functioning group of individuals with strong ownership and accountability, they work extremely well as a team, and have a laugh with each other along the way. Due to internal movements, we are now on the lookout for new people who want to join the Downer family, and work as part of our RMT.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be experienced in job planning and scheduling while managing operational processes.
  • Be familiar with continuous improvement framework, and agile methodologies.
  • Be experienced in effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Have strong analytical skills.
  • Have a positive attitude, focussed on performance and a drive for results.
  • A minimum of two years CSR telecommunications experience, skills and understanding of fundamental aspects of business.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities.
  • Be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently as required.
