As our Customer and Stakeholder Manager you will be expected to be involved in planning, organising, and controlling communications activities and operations within Downer Christchurch. As the manager, you will also own the Customer and Stakeholder Communication Management Plan.

This is a pivotal role within our Christchurch team that entails a fair degree of planning, level-headed judgement, and most importantly, strong communication and relationship building. We take the hard work out of finding the best of the best people to do the work, your job will be to enhance the Downer brand to assist with Downer being out in the community by ways of advertising, promotion and community engagement activities.

As a Customer and Stakeholder Manager you will have skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Experience in developing communication and engagement plans
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience of developing communication and engagement material for communication to the public and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of IAP2 spectrum of participation
  • Experience of working in a customer focussed environment
