About the opportunity

EY is seeking a highly organised team player with an interest in building a better working world to join one of our project management teams. The Project Coordinator role will support in the delivery of one of our large-scale audit programs and plays a critical role in delivering exceptional client and community outcomes.

What’s in it for you?

This is a part-time (18 to 20 hrs/wk) fixed-term contract role (12 months) and offers the opportunity to work from home, if desired. Working hours are ideally 9am to 1pm on weekdays however can be negotiated. There may be an opportunity for a contract extension.

As our Project Co-ordinator your Primary areas of responsibility include coordination of staff resources, scheduling site visits, client liaison and support, budget management, program reporting, technology solution design and management and other support required by the Project Manager.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented and impact focused environment
  • Ability to manage a diverse range of tasks independently and reliably
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to apply creative problem-solving and analytical techniques and escalate where required
  • Resolve queries and issues raised by the project management office and client
  • Ability to move between tasks and clients seamlessly
  • Strong customer service focus.

To qualify for the role, you have

  • At least 1 year of work experience in a project administration or coordination role
  • Experience in team-based project delivery setting
  • Experience in information/data analysis
  • The ability to work independently
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • PRINCE2, PMP or an equivalent project management certification, or working towards one
  • Understanding of professional services environment
  • Experience with quality management systems or other process focused environment
  • The ability to work weekdays between 9am to 1pm
