We are currently recruiting for a Manager – Service Delivery to join our Essential Technology division. This role can be undertaken from home and/or offices anywhere within our Essential Energy Footprint.

About the role

We currently have a unique opportunity for a Manager – Service Delivery to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering best practice Information Technology (IT) services that meet our customer’s needs and align with organisations strategic goals. This will be achieved by ensuring that IT services, including system changes and releases, configuration management, problems, incidents, and knowledge, are effectively designed, governed, and delivered.

As the Manager, Service Delivery you will also drive improved service transition processes, act to ensure alignment to IT compliance and governance frameworks and provide appropriate input to and management of IT costs.

Key responsibilities

  • Accountable for leading and managing a technical team responsible for governance, delivery and performance reporting in key ITSM domains
  • Plan, develop, implement, and manage new ITSM policies, processes, services and service level agreements as a key leader in an upcoming IT transformation program
  • Identify and manage exposure to regulatory compliance and other risks and recommend appropriate strategies and actions to manage and mitigate these across eTech
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with the eTech leadership team and business stakeholders.

About You

You will be a specialised professional with substantial experience in a similar/professional role with proven experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and leading a service management or service delivery group.

You will possess experience with customer experience, user experience, IT change management, knowledge, and configuration management frameworks. You will also have demonstrated experience with cyber, risk and policy frameworks and working in the Information Technology industry and ideally, experience in managing the delivery of customer support services.

You will be willing to undertake occasional travel to our head office, located in beautiful Port Macquarie on the NSW Mid North Coast.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in IT or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications or demonstrated capability through past employment experience.
