A message from E1For our non-Victorian staff, we do offer a budget to visit our HQ each quarter to connect with your team. But we do operate in a remote-first approach. As an additional perk, we also offer 5 days of entrepreneurial leave each year for permanent staff once you pass probation.

I joined E1 in 2017, back when the organisation was a small team of around 15 people and right away, I realised that E1 was unlike any other employer I had worked for. E1 genuinely cared about me and my needs — a completely new experience for me. With two daughters in secondary school and a sick mother, balancing work and personal responsibilities could be challenging. E1 offered me the flexibility to work from home whenever I needed it, making it significantly easier to manage my priorities. Beyond flexibility, E1 demonstrated a deep commitment to my personal and professional growth. I was regularly consulted on my professional aspirations and in 2020, with E1’s financial and professional support, I commenced my MBA and later my CPA. Ultimately my career at E1 has evolved in tandem with the organisation’s growth. The E1 Best Self Review program has been instrumental in helping me track my performance and achievements. It gives me an opportunity to reflect, share my progress with my manager, and gain clarity on my future potential and impact at E1. E1 also places a strong emphasis on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). Through the efforts of passionate volunteers driving the E1 DEIB program, we actively champion inclusivity in all aspects of the workplace. Having worked for over 40 years, I can confidently say that E1 is my favorite place to work. Its inclusive, supportive, and growth-oriented culture makes it truly stand out as an exceptional organisation.
