Do you want to contribute to the resolution of IT incidents and problems in advancing technology and support our existing Defence Account? Do you want to further your experience in Microsoft Technologies, primarily Microsoft Windows Server, and Microsoft Exchange (with Exchange certification and training supported on the job by Fujitsu)..?

The role will provide Systems & Exchange engineering support to the Australian Navy. This is a great opportunity for you to train as an Exchange Engineer, building on your existing Wintel skills with upskilling and certification supported by Fujitsu. You will respond to urgent issues in a short timeframe if a direct operational impact has been identified and recommend improvements in processes and/or designs to support consistent and best-practice delivery of business outcomes and reduce inefficiencies and variance. You will provide technical expertise in enterprise Windows and Linux Servers, backup, AD, Exchange, storage and virtualised solutions.


Building your own path to success:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience as a Windows Systems engineer, Server support or Information Systems Technician
  • Windows Server 2019 and/or industry certifications
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Technologies, Microsoft Windows Server, and Microsoft Exchange (preferred)
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of AD, WINS, DHCP, DNS
  • Broad level of knowledge of Enterprise applications including IIS, Web filters, SQL, ISA, Mail filters, Proxy Servers
  • Citrix administration skills an advantage
  • Defence Experience preferred
  • NV2 Required OR NV1 May be considered with ability to uplift*
  • Onsite Role, Defence Garden Island, Sydney
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the inherent requirements of the role, candidates must be Australian Citizens and hold a minimum NV1 (with ability to uplift to NV2) Australian Federal Government Security Clearance. Fujitsu complies with government legislation in various jurisdictions which in some circumstances may impose a requirement that certain workers be vaccinated against COVID-19 (or otherwise have a valid exemption).
